Honestly. There is more than enough food to fatten up the entire world several
times over until everyone bursts.
The only reason there are nations where people go hungry is their corrupt
governments. In first world nations the only people who go hungry are people too
mentally ill and deranged to seek government help.
XFX is a good quality card maker. I have their 7950 silent cooled version and
would never want anything else, as I hate noise, and like its low power
consumption for a high level card.
"Elfenlied" (lit. "elf song") is a poem written in German by
Eduard Mörike that was adapted into a lied by Hugo Wolf.
und humpelt also tippe tapp
durch's Haselholz in's Tal hinab,
schlupft an der Mauer hin so dicht,
da sitzt der Glühwurm Licht an Licht.
Was sind das helle Fensterlein?
Da drin wird eine Hochzeit sein:
die Kleinen sitzen bei'm Mahle,
und treiben's in dem Saale.
Da guck' ich wohl ein wenig 'nein!«
Pfui, stößt den Kopf an harten Stein!
Elfe, gelt, du hast genug?
Gukuk!
Translation:
At night in the village the watchman cried "Eleven!" (A pun:
"Eleven" means also "elf" in German)
A very small elf was asleep in the wood -
just at eleven! -
And he thinks that the nightingale
must have called him by name from the valley,
or Silpelit might have sent for him. (Silpelit is a character's name from an
opera of Mörike's, "Eduard auf dem Seil")
So the elf rubs his eyes,
comes out of his snail-shell house,
and is like a drunken man,
his nap was not finished;
and he hobbles down, tip tap,
through the hazel wood into the valley,
slips right up to the wall;
there sits the glow-worm, light on light.
"What are those bright windows?
There must be a wedding inside;
the little people are sitting at the feast,
and fooling around in the ballroom.
So I'll just take a peep in!"
Shame! he hits his head on hard stone!
Well, elf, had enough, have you?
Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
From the wiki... worth posting. German art songs can be quite good. Other famous
ones are the Erl-King and Wagner's.
Probably the same thing as Raito, only, I wouldn't run around being so bloody
obvious and go hunting detectives, I'd lie low. Raito had an ego problem.
I just finished episode eight and I've been impressed with the last two
episodes. I didn't think they'd get this deep in a series like this, but they
did decently last season too.
I'm not surprised at who was chosen of the group to persuade to help start the
Alice games. And I'm glad they finally got into Rozen's motivations which I've
been incredibly curious about. And they even started Jun's training after a
fashion, at least letting him watch, which I wanted to see.
I think one of the dolls will definitely die, and likely only one unless they
pull a Gainax style kill 'em all on us, but which one? And will Jun be called in
to try to restore her?
I think the only two suggestions that come to mind are playing with the amount
of the orange color and its distribution a bit more to make it more even, and
changing the font to something nicer.
I think a good experiment that might help is if you applied some sort of
lighting effect to get some more shading into the vectored character image.
Vectors give a 'flat' look, and your background is the opposite so they need to
go together more.
Try some color alterations too to use the same blue pallette for bg and char if
you haven't yet. This image just needs color work for the char and bg to make it
go together as a whole a little more.
The only other suggestion is slightly smaller font.
I like the lacy corners.
Nice work! I love it when people put effort into quailty vectors like this.
It's a little overly busy, and a little low quality scan but otherwise it's
great. Just spending some time with the healing brush and repairing the
quality level will make it a favorite of plenty I bet.
I love Hazuki-chan so I love anything with her in it.
I like a nice big and clear wallpaper like this one. The clouds, stars, and moon
are all very good. It might be possible to tweak the stars a bit to make them
more brilliant, they're a little understated. A little more moon detail maybe
too.
The crystals? She's blowing away. I think they're the only weak point. I don't
quite know what to do with them but perhaps experimenting with different shapes.
Anything from soap bubbles to other shaped crystals might work.
I wasn't sure about the placement/size of the words as I usually prefer
understated titles, off near the bottom left perhaps, but it's growing on me and
I see how it fits in the way it is.
I like the crisp feeling to the image. I wasn't certain if I wanted to blur the
edges more or not, I did a lot of erasing that way and could have done a little
more perhaps I should have. I think it may be too crisp but then maybe not, it's
an interesting effect.
I'm glad it seems the colors are coming through. The characters are small and
understated, but their expressions and eye colors are very appealing. I like the
subtle coloring they have, rather like Monochrome.
About the wings, I see what you mean. I wasn't sure I wanted to keep the brush
and work with it or get rid of it (which I did as it was too distracting in the
other background). I was thinking of making the entire character ghostly, but
the contrast between wings and character then didn't work that way.

Foot! Foot! Always the foot! Haha!
A lot of nice stuff! Congratulations everyone!
Cause in Japan it's a popular rebellious thing to dye your hair blonde...
And cause Mihoshi is the best blonde ever and everybody's just imitating her and Goku.
I can totally see some highschooler getting in trouble and appearing on the nightly news because of this.

Yay!
The best people often get taken to Heaven soonest because they've become who they needed to be.
Peace.
Watch the example of strong people. Try to empathize. Sheer determination and willpower to self control.
Think Rocky. Hokotuo no Ken. Jesus Christ.
J-pop.. because of Naomi Tamura..
But I do really like Kelly Chen.

Still waiting for Jade Empire (PC).. Still waiting for the next Geneforge (PC)...
Hurry up and wait!
Still it's better to wait than to get buggy junk which is so often released.. though often you wait and still get it.

Ghosts? Sounds more like demons to me.

I seem to permanently have '2' listed for my Notification level, even though I've deleted everything notifications and PMs.
Also, Bot Chii deleted one of my wallpapers for being corrupt/partial upload. There was a typo in the notification.

I think things are fine the way they are now.
Very unique looking. I like it a lot.

Great wall.
Hmm. I know there's a PC version of it in Korean, but is there an English PC version now that there's an English PS2 version I wonder?
It's always great to see vectoring.
